Plastic Surgeon in Modesto, CA
Meet Dr. Enevoldsen
Thank you for your interest in my Modesto Plastic Surgery practice. I have been in the Modesto area for 25 years and as a Board Certified plastic surgeon I have performed thousands of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures. My practice has evolved to focus primarily on cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. I attended the University of California at Berkeley and received my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry in 1979. From there I went on to begin medical school at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark and completed my studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, graduating in 1984. I returned to the Bay Area to complete a five-year residency in General Surgery at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California which was followed by a residency in Plastic Surgery at the National Capital Training Program based at Georgetown and Howard Universities in Washington, D.C. This included a fellowship in microsurgery at the Minnesota Institute for Microsurgery. In 1993 I was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I am a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the California Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS), and the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). In 1996 I was elected to serve on the Executive Council of CSPS and ultimately had the honor of serving as President of the Society in 2010-2011. During my tenure as President of CSPS it was a privilege to function as a Visiting Professor, teaching plastic surgery residents at some of our state’s preeminent Plastic Surgery training programs. I have served as chairman of the departments of surgery at both St. Dominic’s Hospital and Doctors Hospital of Manteca and currently holds clinical privileges at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto and I am the Medical Director of The Aesthetic Surgery Center of California. Between 1989 and 1994 I participated in several humanitarian missions to Peru, the Dominican Republic, Chile, and Venezuela where I operated on children with congenital deformities such as cleft lip and palate. In 1996 I was recognized as the Manteca Rotary Club Rotarian of the Year and in 1997 as Rotarian of Distinction for my work with Rotaplast on some of these missions. As my children get older I am looking forward to being able to resume my participation in these missions. It would be my honor to be able to meet with you as a first step toward realizing your aesthetic goals.
