HydraFacial® works differently than microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion is a one-step exfoliation process used to soften dead skin cells and remove them through either a diamond wand or crystal exfoliation. The HydraFacial® process uses a serum to soften dead skin cells instead of crystals, thus creating a much gentler exfoliation process. This advancement in technology offers two additional steps, extractions/deep pore cleansing and a super hydrating treatment serum to soothe and calm the skin leaving it radiant.
